Awesome Doors

There are lots of awesome doors in the world and I believe ours is one of them.

Yep that would be black carpet on our door. Along with a awesome zombie poster and a dollar!
The hubs can be so creative when he wants.
Leave a comment letting him know what you think of the door.
This should give him a big head! LOL!!!

I love the Basement

Ever since we have moved into our new house with the basement we haven't had not one fight. That basement is awesome. The hubs already has a chair and table and the radio down there. His hung up some things on the walls and it's slowly become his man cave.
His always wanted a man cave and now he has one. Hell he has a man cave and a whole room just for his clothes so I don't have to see the mess he makes with them. He can now get his "me time". I know how important me time is. I get me time every time Skylee takes a nap. I don't know what I would do without me time.
It's also his cool down place. If he gets mad at me or something, I say something because I don't wanna admit that it's me mostly, he just walks down stairs and listens to his music really loud and cools down. I think a basement/man cave is the secret to a good marriage. Also the basement door locks on the outside so I can lock him in whenever I feel like it. LOL It hasn't happened yet, and I said yet.
I hope he likes his man cave. His always wanted one. He can hear the excited in his voice when he talks about getting a pool table. And his even talked about building a bar down there. I say all the power to him as long as my washer and dyer area is left untouched.
So there you have it. I have found the secret to staying married for 80 years. Give your man a man cave.

Not so Wordless Wednesday

So after 4 days of packing I'm almost done. We go and sign the lease on the house today at 4pm. I'm super excited. After all we have been through I will feel better once our name is on the lease. Then I know its ours. Our current house is such a mess and has been for the past 4 days. I haven't had to clean anything other than the dishes and bathrooms. The floors look like they haven't been mopped in ages. The task of cleaning will happen tomorrow. When start moving stuff today, thank God. We are down to trails that go through the house between the boxes and bags. It's all driving my OCD bat crazy!
The hubs has been repainting our chester drawers.

This is our finished dresser. It matches our room now. Our bed set is dark purple. And we have a lot of Nightmare Before Christmas stuff in the room, so this matches perfectly.
And this one of Skylee's. It's going to go great with her Dora/Barney room. I'm hoping by Christmas To get her a Dora Bed set and some more barney stuff.
I think the hubs did a wonderful job. Even though he gave me crap about going out and doing it. He had fun with the 1st one, but by the 2nd one the fun had worn off. LOL.
Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday.

Say Hello to Casa Boca

This is our new house. Yes it call it Casa Boca. I don't have any good pictures of the inside so that will have to wait a few more days. We sold our house Friday and We sign the papers on this new one Wednesday! I'm so excited. This house is everything I have every wanted. I even have a dishwasher!!!! Yes I'm super excited about that dish washer. I have been washing dishes by hand of over a year now and I hate it! I hate dishes with a passion.
and the washer and dryer hook up in is the basement. The one we have now is in the hall. I hate it being in the hall. It's so hard to hide dirty clothes when their setting in the middle of your hall way. Now I can hide those dirty clothes!!!
And the hubs has been craiglist.com hunting for a pool table to put in the basement/man cave. I said it was okay maybe that will keep him out of my hair lol.
We have been packing sense Saturday and we are no where near done. I have so much to pack. It's shocking how much stuff I crammed into this little place!
So be looking out for excited new stuff coming from us and our new house!

Fawk You Friday

BWS tips button

There's always a Fawk You Friday when you need one. And this week I needed one more than ever.
I would like to throw a big old sucking monkey balls fawk you to a man named Paul. I won't give a last name because I don't wanna be sued or something.
But yea Fawk You Paul. You suck at your job.
This man is suppose to be selling our house. But for the life of him he can't seem to "keep in touch" with the buyers. Hell he can't even fawking be man enough to call us back when we get mad because he hasn't called us in a week. He can't even return a text message! Really man grow the fawk up!
So Monday we were told that we were closing Friday (today) to go find a house they wanted us as soon as possible. So we did. We found our dream home and even got it. But now we're going to lose it because this ass can't hold up his half of the shit. The hubs called him yesterday, he would have never called us, and he told hubs that he can't get in touch with the buyer. Really this has happened twice now.
I have prayed so hard that all this would work out. Moving out of this town would help us so much. We would be saving loads on gas. Our dream house was in walking distance from the mall where I could get a job. Everything was perfect. But this ass can't do his damn job.

Maybe it just wasn't meant to be. But it hurt so much to get my hopes up and fall in love with that house that when I heard he "couldn't get in touch" with the buyer I locked myself in the bedroom I cried. It hurt so bad. I hate being in limbo. Not knowing when we are going to move or stay and not know anything because this ass can't even return a call.

If you're in Georgia and a man named Paul says he can sale your house in a week, slam the door in his face.

Fingers and Toes and Everything Crossed

So yep we found our dreams house.
Let me back up. So we close on our house Friday. Yep that's right we finally have a serious buyer, thank God. So we went out yesterday looking at houses. Mostly everything in the town we wanted were those "need love" homes. I sorry but I'm not a handy person and I really don't wanna work on a house we don't own and are going to stay in forever. Nothing worse than making something look all pretty and then moving a year later or something.
So then we went into another little town and found The One! Oh I wish I would have took pictures for you guys but I was so excited that it didn't even cross my mind. It is everything we want down to the tee.
  • Hard wood floors though out
  • a big kitchen
  • a DISHWASHER!
  • three bedrooms
  • lots of closets
  • fenced in backyard with a deck
  • full awesome basement
  • lots of parking
  • in our price range
It's just amazing. My heart fulled with so much joy when I walked into this house. It just had happy vibe all over it.
So last night we dug out all the things we need to finish the application. We emailed it in and now we are waiting.
I hardly slept last night for worrying about the house. And of course planning what it's going to look like when I;m done with it.
Gosh I'm praying so hard about this house. I so hope we hear something soon about it.

Moving Update , We might be getting somwhere.

So as you all know we are trying to sale our house and move closer to my husband's job. Well yesterday another buyer came by to look at the place. He was a older man, maybe 60s. He buys places to resale, like most the people looking at our home now days.
I got a call from the hubs saying clean the house someone is coming by to look at it. This is ten something in the morning, I'm not an early raiser. I was still in a old T-shirt I slept in the night before and the house was horrible. I rushed cleaned the house and got dressed. As soon as I was pulling a clean shirt over my head the knocking at the door begins.
They came in looked around. Looked around outside and talked for a while in the front yard. Paul ( the guy trying to sale our house for us.) peeked his head in the door and said the man was 99% sure he wanted to buy it. Of course we have heard the same mess before. I said okay and went about my day. The hubs and I talked about it and didn't believe it. We have had a long history of not believe until we see it.
This morning the hub gets a call from Paul saying the man is going to buy it, and asked how long we need to move out. Okay this sounds like yea we just sold it right? Well back to the not believe until we see it thing, he didn't say when we would be getting a check. Until the check it in my hand, yes mine not the hubs, then I will believe it.
My fingers are crossed, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Update on the Home Selling Front

Well after that old bubble popping Lady, it seemed we were never going to sale this place. We went weeks of posting it up on Craigslist.com. It seemed no one want this place even if we gave it away. Which is what is felt like after we dropped our price twice.
Then we had a call. A man named Paul said he could sale our home for what we wanted and he was sure of it. He came by on a Thursday and took picture and said he was so sure he could have it sold by Monday. We signed a contract saying that we wouldn't sale it to anyone that didn't go through him, I thought sure, if you can sale it then more power to ya cause I'm given up.
The weekend rolled around and a lady came by, I didn't catch her name, she took pictures and said how she loved our red walls in the living room. She said Paul would be in touch with us, smiled, and left.
The weekend came and went. Monday rolled around and nothing from Paul. We waited all day. Side note, the hubs and I aren't good at waiting around. It drives us crazy. So we call him. We get the voice mail. We leave a message and wait another day. By Tuesday we had called at least six of seven times. Okay, I know that sounds crazy, but we really wanna sale our place and get this move over with. It's been haunting us. By Tuesday night his voice mail was full ( hopefully  not by us ). We were getting worried. Was he just part of some kind of scam. He didn't have anything of ours. We hadn't paid him anything. That would be a stupid scam.
Then Wednesday morning he called. He said his son had been in a car accident and he was just a little behind. Can you say OMG I was feeling bad. I had thought he was a scam and come to find out his son was hurt. Who was feeling down in the dumps, I was. Along with that he said the lady who came by wanted to by the place. He was behind in some other houses he was selling and that ( here comes the big news! ) have a check by next week!
He didn't say what day next week. And we are trying not to get our hopes up, for they have been shot down way to many times about this house. We are just praying that everything works out like God wants it to.

Well.....

Well as you all know blogger went down yesterday and deleted our Thursday posts. There was a review and giveaway on mine, but don't worry it will be up again Monday. It's Saturday and as you all know I'm not a weekend blogger. So be looking for Monday's post to enter the giveaway to win 5 coupons for Coffee House Breve Creme.
So today I'm cleaning my house really good. We have some people coming by to look at the place. I really hope they like it. I love my little home, but gas prices are killing us, so we need to more closer to the city. I'm going to miss our 1st home together, but I'll love our next just as much. Wish us luck that this place sells asap.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. See y'all Monday!

Fawk You Friday

BWS tips button

So we have been trying to sale our house right. Will it seems like no one cares about this place. No one even calls about it anymore and I post on Craig's List like everyday about it. It seems we're never going to get out of here and into a safer place.
So to that I say Fawk you to everyone who doesn't wanna buy our house.

Fawk You to our AC that went out this week. It's hot here in Darlin' County. My baby is sweating in her sleep. ( I did go buy her a window fan, so she's fine now) ACs cost a lot. And we just don't have the money. I just pray something comes out of no where and helps us get it fixed before summer sets in.

Fawk You daughter's bedroom door. I was storing you stroller behind her door, because we just have no where else to put it. So the other day in the mist of her running into and out of her room she closes the door an the stroller falls. With a fallen stroller behind her closed door, she was stuck in her room. The door would only open a few inches. I tried to fit my fat country butt through the few inches, but like I said my fat country butt was fitting. So the hubs pushed on the door until the bottom hinge came right off. My hubby's a strong man! So we got her out safe and sound, but we now have a broken door.

And along with all these things fallen apart in our house, we also have a leaky sink in the guest bathroom.
So FAWK YOU falling apart house that we can't sale.

Just About NOT Sold

BWS tips button

I wasn't even going to do a F-U Friday post this week. Everything seemed to be going so well. We were about to close on our house and more closer to the hubs job and save gas and have a big fenced in backyard and a extra room for whatever reason and blah blah. And then that horrible person called me back. Okay she's not horrible but she sure did pop my happy bubble.
So to that I say Fawk You happy bubble popper!!!!
So the story is, We were selling our house to this nice old lady. We were even helping her get in by taking money out of the $4000 she was giving us for the house to help pay her 1st month rent. I thought, hey she needs the help. I don't mind helping if someone needs it and I'll be doing a good thing. Everything was set to go down. We had houses to go look at this weekend and everything!
Then this morning I call the nice old lady and she tells me, oh she's sorry but she just had lunch with her friend and her friend was all we won't be able to have lunch anymore because you're moving. So right there changed the "nice" old lady's mind about buying. She doesn't wanna move 30mins from where she lives now.
So there for that horrible happy bubble popper of a "nice" old lady ruined my Friday! Hell she ruined my whole month!
Then after that when down. I call the hubs to tell him and we get into a fight about selling the house. So not only did she pop my happy bubble by not buying our house, she caused me and hubs to fight. NOT COOL!
But we have come to the decision to put the house back out there on the market and just wait. No stressing, no dead lines, nothing just waiting.
SO here we are back at square one. Waiting.

Our House is Now FOR SALE

The hubs and I have been talking about moving. There are many reason we feel we kinda need to. One, we are paying over $100 a month in gas for the hubs to get to work everyday. Two, we're not to happy with the area we live in. Three, all these storms that's been coming through have scared us and we want something that makes us feel safer.
It wasn't a big thing until yesterday. We started looking at places to rent closer to his job. We own our house/mobile home now. But we wanna rent for now so we can build our credit and we just aren't ready for another big commitment. And with all that, our house is now for sale.
$6,000 or best offer. We put up a post at the community board and a post on CraigsList.org. Check it out. If your wanna living in the Conyers area pf Georgia let me know.
I'm kinda scared about all this. It's really the unknown that freaks me out. I don't like not knowing when we'll sale and where we'll go from there. I don't really wanna move closer to the city. I hate the sound of the air planes and traffic. But we will be saving a load on gas money.
I'm trying to look at it like a new start. The hubs and I have had our problems. And maybe this will be like a new start for us. I'm crossing me fingers. I hope we can get moved before the holidays. I would hate to have the stress of holidays and moving on my back.
Wish us luck with all this. It's just a new journey for our little family.

XOXO

Fawk You Friday

BWS tips button

One big Fawk You to who ever started the brush fires right behind our house yesterday. The hubby was on the way home and saw all this smoke. He called and asked if I knew anything about it. I didn't because I was inside laying. I turned on the news and there it was the opening behind us burning down. It got us so worried I started packing. I was freaking out thinking of all my stuff burning into ashes. I would die. The hubs was out back with the water hoes wetting down the ground around us and the house.
So Yes Fawk You who ever you were. Someone did it. There where five fires all the way up the road. Just like someone was riding around and saying, " Hey these people don't need homes. Lets start random stupid fires!" Ass Holes!!!!

There's my Fawking for the week.

Don't forget the hop over to For The Love of Blogs and join Fab Friends Friday too.

I Hope She Understands One Day

Now tell me does this make me a bad mommy? If it does you can tell me, I surely feel like a bad mommy right now. I'm listening to my, just turned today, 16 month old crying because she's refusing to take a nap. And I'm refusing to get her out of that crib until she does.
I have so much to do today. I'm setting here now with dirty clothes up to my knees, dirty dishes to my elbows, and Lord knows I need a shower. I floors need cleaning, the bathroom need to be bleached like crazy, and the beds need making.
I'm not ready for Christmas, I'm just not. I didn't get everything I wanted to buy. I feel so bad for my hubby. I just did have the time nor money to get him what I wanted to get him. He says it's okay, but it's not. He got me boots, a outfit, and a starbucks mug. ( I haven't wrapped them. I'm wearing them tomorrow.) This really makes me feel down in the dumps because I love giving way more that getting.
And still she cries. She's understand one day that mommy needed time for herself. Even if that time was to clean the house ( and do some blogging).  She'll thank me one day for doing all this. She'll see one day that I'm only going all crazy mad woman because I wanted her to have a good Christmas. Why am I kidding myself. I know she'll never really thank me. I don't think I ever even thanked my mom like she would have liked. I should call her now but I know she's going all crazy mad woman too, trying to made everything perfect for my little sister and Skylee. I do thank her, so I guess in a way I know Skylee will be thankful too one day.
But until then, she's crying and I'm cleaning.
Merry Christmas!

XOXO

Godzilla was in our House

A few days ago I saw our puppy chasing something by the door. I made her stop and that's when I seen it. Godzilla run across the living room under a shelf. I freaked. I called my hubby then at work and told him I was freaking. He tells me to get the guy who lives next door to get it out if I was that scared. I was going to go get him, but then I decided I couldn't tell him where to find it. I wasn't going to put my face that close to see if it was still under there.
So hours went by and I was still freaking. I was wondering all the what if's. What if it got into our food? What if it got into Skylee bed while she was sleeping? What if it could bite? The next day rolled around and I had almost forgot it was there. Then there it was, setting in my kitchen.

Just setting there, staring at me. I called my husband once again and told him what was happening. All I got out of that was laughter in my ear. So being the sap I am, I was feeling bad because it looked at the window all sad. It wanted to go home. So being me again, I started talking to Godzilla.
I told him to stay put. That my husband would be home in a few hours and take him home. While being a lizard who didn't listen, he moved away from the window and I lost him again.
Then on Thanksgiving he reappeared. My oh so brave hubby, who had to use a jar because he didn't want to touch it, took him back outside. So now Godzilla is living happy in our front yard, being all lizardy and stuff.
