Fawk You Friday

I really don't know who to Fawk right now other than myself. I have been such a bad blogger lately. I changed my theme thinking it would hit me with new inspiration, but nothing. I have been so worn out with everything I'm trying to do lately. I have so much on my plate from, writing for Examiner.com, trying to write for Yahoo and getting put down, working on my book ( I'm working on the cover art now and no I still haven't finished the ending), and to building my web site Nikki Darlin'.
Freelance writing isn't easy by no means.
So I would also like to say Fawk You to the freelance writing world. I love being a part of you, but the money is sucking ass. Being turned down after pouring your heart into something suks ass.
I'm trying my loves. I still read your blogs. I still try to comment. I'm just a little worn out right now. I don't know how to balance my life at this moment, but I'm trying.
Hope you all still love me.

Switched Bsck to Blogspot.com

So my domain name expired today and I just didn't see why I would pay $10 again for another year when I can use blogspot.com for free. I like things that are free.


I have already changed my header and button.
This change won't effected anyone who is following me via GFC but it will for those of you who are following my via bookmarks.
So please grab my new button and let me know if you do so I can grab yours if I don't already have it.

Well I know I haven't been here in a while. We did get moved into our new house. We just got the cable and internet going again. I'm really busy unpacking and getting this place looking like home. I miss blogging and I have a lot to tell y'all when I get back. I should be back tomorrow with a post, I hope.

After changing my layout and all yesterday I saw that I lost a follow. I hate losing follows I love you all. But if I guess they didn't like my layout of something.

Yes it's the inside of a pin up girl. I like it. I like a lot of different things. I'm not just a mommy and wife. I have always liked weird things. I love some good rock music. I like older rock music, some of this new stuff is crap. I love tattoos. I have two right now and if I come across some money I will be getting more.
Right now I'm zombies, hint why I'm writing a zombie story How Much Do You Love Her?. But I have to say vampire are still my all time favorite. If I had to be one I would be a vampire. They have cool powers and can control people. Who won't wanna control the world? LOL.
If I had a choice of what I wanted to be when I grew up I would say a pin up girl who travels the world for shoots.
As a teenager I was really into goth. Thank God I grow out of that. LOL. Now I really love the pin up rockabilly look. If I thought it would look good on me I would cut my hair in a Betty Page style, me and hub love her.

Yes that would be a tattooed Betty Page on our living room wall right behind the TV that is showing Dora. LOL.

New Darlin' Mama

I just added a new banner and layout and button to my blog. Check it out! Tell me what cha think! It's an all new me!
I've been really inspired by the 40s and 50s lately. And I'm kinda going Rockabilly.

New Blog : Dreams From My Pen.

I have been a writer sense high school. I have a little over 5 notebooks full of poetry and short stories. Most have never been been seen by a very close friends. We used to have a thing where we would write in our notebooks and between classes we would switch notebooks and read and leave comments under the poem. Those were good time. But I'm not in high school anymore. My friends are mostly away at college and many, many miles away. SO switching notebooks isn't in my life anymore.
But I have started a new blog. This is still my main blog I care so much about this blog and my readers. But this new blog, Dreams From My Pen, is a place for my to grow in my skill. I place to let out my creative writer side.
I will be posting a story written in poetry style bits and pieces and chapters at a time. It's a romantic, zombie, horror. And I hope you all like it. I do enjoy and welcome comments good or bad. Like I said I'm putting my work out there to expand my talent ( or at least I think it's a talent LOL).

Well.....

Well as you all know blogger went down yesterday and deleted our Thursday posts. There was a review and giveaway on mine, but don't worry it will be up again Monday. It's Saturday and as you all know I'm not a weekend blogger. So be looking for Monday's post to enter the giveaway to win 5 coupons for Coffee House Breve Creme.
So today I'm cleaning my house really good. We have some people coming by to look at the place. I really hope they like it. I love my little home, but gas prices are killing us, so we need to more closer to the city. I'm going to miss our 1st home together, but I'll love our next just as much. New Beauty Blogger and She's My Friend

I have a wonderful friend who just started up her beauty blog, Beautiful Looks, Dangerous Attitude. She is now going to beauty school and doing some freelance make-up.

I went Sunday to help her out on a job interview. I was her model. She had to do half my face for a natural look and the other half all out. In the picture here you and can see the lashes and eye brow job she did. The left lashes is the individual lashes and the right is the strip lashes. I think she did a wonderful job. I came out look like a crazy person with half my face all done up and the other natural looking. LOL. But I did it for a friend so I didn't care. I had fun anyways. I really hope she gets the job, even though I think the manager lady/boss was a big meanie. She made both of us nervous and I wasn't even doing anything.

New Name / New Look / New Me

As all people go, we change as we grow.
I have been doing a lot of growing lately and finding myself. I have found new things I like and found out there are something things I don't like anymore.
To reflect my growth and change, my blog has changed too. It's still about the same stuff and whatnot, just a new look and feel.
Being born and raised in the south I know all about southern hospitality and blessing people's hearts. It's in my blood and I believe in being nice to sweet to people and welcoming them into your home/heart. On the other hand I know how to be a tough girl and kick ass too.

1. What is your current favorite book, and why?

I am/was ( I haven't gotten the next book yet) reading the House of Night series. It's kinda teenish. but I like vampire books, shoot me.

2. Do you go to the dentist regularly?

Sadly no. I hate them and we don't have dental insurance right now. We need to start looking into it for Skylee soon though. 

3. What is your worst memory from High School?

I had a close friend get killed in a car wreck. It was so hard to go back to school and face it without seeing him there. 

4. What do you hope to be remembered for in your life?

My Blog!!!! LOL I'm being serious. I wanna get big and be on Dr.Phil or something. 

5. Are you superstitious or do you have any superstitions?

I am a little I think. I do things like draw crosses on the windshield of the car when black cats run by. And other things like that.
