Tantrum Break Down

I have been dying to be able to sleep in past 8am. With working or taking care of the house and family, I get really tired.

And with Skylee acting like a brat, isn't helping much at all.
Last night, I hit a new low.
We didn't leave the house to around 7pm to just run out and pick up a few things. Skylee fell asleep in the car and we woke her up to into the dollar store.
She throw fits over bears and balls. Then hubs gives me the money and leaves me alone with a cranky kid. While checking out I'm trying to put bags back into the cart, while she is screaming over a balloon.
I finally get her out with a color book and back into the car.
We stop by walmart for some over things and the tantrum level is building. She is right now a ticking time bomb of little girl tantrum.
I pick her up a hair brush, we lost hers and she hates mine so I give in. She hod the brush and starts trying to get the brush out of the packaging. I take the brush away and BOOOOOM! She explodes! Screaming at the top of her lungs and turning all red. We are in the brush area by ourselves or so I thought.
Here comes my low, wait for it ...
I raise my voice, okay I damn right yell at her,
" SHUT THE FUCK UP, I'M NOT DEALING WITH YOUR SHIT RIGHT NOW."
yep I said it.
And not only does it make you feel bad to lose your own temper at your darling little one (even when they're not so darling) is having someone see you do it.
As I'm saying this I'm coming around a corner to see this woman staring at me in horrible. You would have thought I just stab my daughter and this woman seen it.
At this point there's nothing I can do but keep walking with my head down.
I felt/feel so bad for acting that. I'm always seeing things like that myself in stores and saying I'm never going to do that. And last night I was that woman.
" Why do kids hate Walmart? Because every time you go in there you see some kid getting their ass beat"

Super 8 Review

Last night the hubs and I went with some friends to see Super 8. We thought it was going to be a cute thriller with some kids in it. And I was excited to see Elle Fanning, I think she's just adorable.
But I'm sorry to say this movie sucks. I guess it was meant to be a kids movie. I like kids movies don't get me wrong. But this one was just crappy. We had more fun making fun of it than watching it.

SPOILER ALERT!!!!! IF YOU DON'T WANNA KNOW DON'T READ ANYMORE!

It was about a alien that came to earth and it's ship got messed. The poor alien just wanted to go home. It was touching in stupid way. The whole time you can't even see the alien really because the movie was so dark. just about the whole movie is in the dark. It's really predictable. And way too easy to make fun of.
For a kids movie I think it's pretty good. But as a adult be prepared to be bored out of your mind. It was so bad 2 out of 4 people that was watching the movie were playing on their phones.
You have been warned!

Girls Driving Me to Drink

Last night we went out to eat with the in-laws. The night started off bad. I forgot Skylee's cup at the house, so we came back to get it. I gave her some tea because we were out of juice. Nope she wasn't happy. She wanted coke or " co co" as she says. We started letting her get some of our coke when she was being good. It turned into every time we got in the car. We get in the car a lot. Now she thinks she suppose to get ti all the time when she asks.
She throw a fit about not getting any coke. I declared that she wouldn't get anymore until she learned that coke is a treat not a everyday thing. Even though that might take five years from now, oh well. I always said I would never let my child drink soda. It's bad for them I said. Now look at me. Handing her coke every time she cries. But that stops here.
So we got to the restaurant and got seated. She started crying again. She didn't want to set in the high chair. So I let her seat with me until the food came. After all this I had to order a drink. Yep that's right a nice strong, very large, drink. The food came and I put her back in the high chair. She was okay for a second. Then She wanted out again. She started standing up in her chair and crying very loudly. I also said I would never be the ones with the crying baby at the table getting on everyone's nervous. But look at me now. I have a toddler standing up in her highchair screaming at the top of her lungs.
The hubs says maybe she doesn't like the highchair, well no shit she doesn't. So I grab a normal chair the table near by and let her set in the big girl chair. That was cool for a minute. Then she saw that she could get out of it.
Half way through my drink I started not to care. Good thing we were in the corner of the restaurant, because she was up and walking around the whole time we ate. She didn't leave our little area, but the only way she was happy was up and walking.
It's getting to the point I don't wanna take my little monster out of the house. She acts up everywhere. Just typing this makes me feel bad. I love her to death and I just want her to act right.

The Warnings

The hubs got off early today. He came in and told me that his boss asked about our daughter today. He asked how old she was now and the hubs reply's with "almost two". The boss reply's with " ooooooooo."
It's like every time someone hears how old she is, we get some kind of warning. We have heard it all. The terrible twos are among us. We hear how she's just going to be a complete monster. How she's going to just stop listening.
And we see it. We don't need the warnings. We need someone to help us. Someone to keep her for the next year or so until she turns back into the sweet loving thing we used to know. We don't need your laughs and comments. We don't need a baby who throw fits because sponge bob didn't say hey to her when she waved at the TV. We don't need a baby who only after being out of bed 30 minutes is already standing in the corner for something or another.
I don't understand this change. And I hate even more the comments about how the next year is going to complete hell. I would like to just go through this year in a ignorant haze. I wanna to blame all her acting up on her teeth.
(I just had to get open from the computer to put her back in the corner for doing the same thing she did earlier. It's only 10:45am and this is the second time she has been in the corner this morning.)
Back to what I was saying. I wanna blame it all on her teeth. She has back ones coming in, they hurt, that's why she's acting up. Is it too much to ask to just let me think that? So when I look back on this year I don't have to think of all the bad things she did and all the hair I lost.
Has anyone gone grey by the 3rd year of their child's life? I think I might and yes I'm only 21.
