Sick babies.

The month of November has been nothing but a sick month here in Darlin' Country. It started off with the hubs then went to me and now to our kid.
She is not a sick kid. She has only been really sick like once before in her life. So it scares me every time she gets a little sick.
It started around Wednesday with a cough.
Thursday the cough got worse and lose of appetite. Poor baby didn't even eat much on Thanksgiving.
Then Sunday it went to diarrhea and runny nose. Some really bad stuff.
So by Monday when she still wasn't eating and running a fever, we took her right to the children's hospital.
The hubs came by my job looking for her health care card. As soon as I looked at her I knew she was feeling really bad. I told my bosses I had to leave.

We got to the hospital, her regular doctor was closed at the time. At 1st we felt like we were just over reacting.
Then she got in to see the doctor and then wanted to take xrays. Completely freaking me out. I have never even had xrays, but now my baby was.
She did so good. She let the doctor look at her. She only started crying when they wanted her to lay down. She called the doctor mean then, really cute.
She did amazing during the xrays. We told her she was going to get her picture taken. So she layed real still and said cheese each time.
The xrays looked good and they ruled it out as a sinus infection.
All in all, I'm glad I over react about things like this. I feel it's better to be safe than sorry.

Friday I lost my voice.

Saturday I started coughing.

today I feel like shit with all the above.

Fawk You Friday

Fawk you weird snot stuff in my nose. I hate you for going down my throat and making it hurt.
That's right I'm sick. The world must stop now and baby me. Okay I'm not that bad. I am woman and face it men, we are stronger than you. There for I will be strong during this sickness. Even though I wanna curl up on the couch and eat warm soup and sleep.
But I'm also a mommy and that shit ain't happening in this house. As we speak I don't know where my little one is because she is always on the go. I could try to tell her mommy doesn't feel good and she needs to rest, but we all know that would go in one ear and out the other.
I miss being in my moms house. I miss her babying me when I was sick. I would sleep in her bed with her and she would let me stay up late and watch tv with her, because I slept all day. I miss my moms chicken noodle soup, and yes I did know it was out of the can, it was just always better when mom made it.
Okay back to my bitching. I feel like crap. Our house looks like crap. My toddler is running around looking like a shaggy haired country bunken.
So big ol' Fawk you germs that I most likely caught from my hubs, because his the only one who really leaves the house. I love the hubs but he kinda a walking germ factory. I tell him it's safer to stay home and not deal with the world and their yucky germs. I fear Skylee going to school. I'll probably stay sick all the time then. Stupid world and all your germs, please keep them to yourself.
I'm off the drink some meds and watch cartoons with my dirty bunken.

Feeling like Crap

Today is crappy. My allergies are acting up, so I'm feeling like crap. I slept as much as I could today, but Skylee thought I shouldn't. She had me up a 8am. My normal time to wake up is 10am. Thank God for the hubby who watched her so I could sleep a few extra hours before he headed to work.
Scotty is now working as 2nd shift manager. So he works now at night, which I hate, but the money is better. It throws me all off. It now means I'll be cleaning the house at night, weird huh? I also now have to get Skylee on a new sleep routine. I just need her to wake up earlier and go to bed earlier.

Cleaning Blah!

Today is the 1st day sense Skylee got sick that I had a chance to clean around the house. Gosh this house was a mess.

Skylee's cough is almost gone thanks to the meds the doc gave her. I'm really glad her cough is gone, that's what was really scaring me. My mom keep telling me she could set up pneumonia. That's a scary thing when you think of it happening to a one year old.

But I think we're on our way to feeling better.

She is still fussy and not sleeping well. While her not sleep may be driving me crazy, I love my mom time during nap time, I love my baby and just want her to feel better.

Fawk You Friday

Here we go again!

Fawk you sickness! I hate you with a passion. My baby is feeling like crap. I didn't get any sleep last night. I now have to go pay a $30 co pay to take her to the doctor.

Fawk you the cost of toys. Why is a stupid little stuffed doll $10. Really?!!! And you know people are going to spend that kind of money because it's Christmas and we love our children. Grrrr! you make us broke and my husband mad because we're broke.

Fawk you army's drill weekend. Your going to make my hubby tired and he won't get a day off at all this weekend because of you!

Fawk you cold. I wasn't ready for you. I don't have any winter clothes! damn you!

Fawk you stupid lot rent people. Because you let the water from a broken pipe ran for a weekend straight you are now raising our rent. I'm sorry you are too stupid to tell the people working on the water pipe to shout it off when they leave for the weekend.

Fawk you stupid guy who lives across the street and wants to use his leaf blower ever other day!!! I wanna steal your leaf blower!!!

Nurse Mommy Duty with Buffy

This is post number 101 and it has to be quick. I have the hubby and puppy sleeping behind me, the monitor on high listen out for my sick baby.
I most likely won't get much sleep tonight. I'm on nurse mommy duty.
Skylee woke up about an hour after me laying her down, throwing up.

List of reason we're heading to the doc tomorrow:
runny nose
cough
not eating or drinking well
diarrhea
throwing up

All not good at all.
I just want my baby to feel better again.

On another note Rita off Dexter played on the very 1st episode of Buffy. ( just watched it on netflix )

She also played on the 2nd episode of Roswell. ( watched last night on netflix )

And she was also on Angel.

Runaway nose ran away with a cough

So my baby is sick. I hate it. This is the 1st time she's need sick in a while. So being new to all this, I'm worrying my butt off.

When she is laying still you know she's sick. LOL

She's got a runny nose, a horrible cough, and today isn't eating well. She is drinking lots of juice though. I'm taking her to the doctor tomorrow.

Sorry for the short post, but I have to be nurse mommy right now.
