Reay for Cruising [ Guest Post ]

Ready For Cruising
Written by my friend Dong Wood
In two short days, we will be boarding a cruise ship at Long Beach Port. The excitement level is building my house. Everyone is ready to get away from work and school and have some fun. My family is traveling with two other families and our single aunt so we will be a group of 14 people. We usually try to go on one cruise about every two years. So far we've been on three Carnival cruises and one Royal Caribbean cruise. We have enjoyed them all but unanimously my group votes that the food and friendliness of the staff are a little better on Carnival. This time we are booked on the Carnival Splendor for 7 fun filled days on the sea, and we are visiting the Mexican ports of Puerta Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas. I've never been on this specif! ic ship before but part of the fun of cruising is exploring all the cafes, bars, lounges, and floors of the ship. On departure morning, we will throw our suitcases in the back of the suv, take our golden retriever over to the neighbors, set our home security alarm from TotalAlarmSystems.com/, and head down the road toward Los Angeles. On the drive, we have a tradition of singing silly songs about boats and water to set the mood for our cruise trip.
