Be happy with your body!

So the internet has been buzzing about the famous meatball, Snooki and her weight loss.

I say congrats to her for losing weight and wanting to be healthy, but she should have never told anyone her weight. 98 pounds it just not healthy sounding for anyone.
Young girls look up to this woman. In no way should they thinking 98 pounds is healthy.

What happened to 1950s look on women.
When the curvy Marilyn Monroes and Bettie Pages were known as sexy.
These women were known as the most beautiful of their time.
Shouldn't we look up to women like this and not women who are happy to be 98 pounds.

I am 140 pounds.
I am only 5 pounds over what is called healthy for my body type.
And I am happy with myself!

Snookie is only 4'9 so 98 pounds is actually right on target for a healthy weight for someone her size ... Kudos to her she looks fantastic!!!! :)

She's so short that i bet 98 lbs is a healthy weight for her! But i agree with you that we should be happy with our bodies. And if we arent then we should diet/workout in a healthy way to lose weight!

Like the post and I am totally with you...98 lbs sounds harsh. Yes she may only be 4'9 but that isn't blasted thru out the media. Its the 98 lb thing that is.

Im a curvy gal and yes, I miss the days of good 'ol Marilyn!!

Cute blog!
